Or is he so brain-blown he just doesn't know?

Anybody watch that horrible Fox show about knowing the lyrics to various songs?  They had Brett Michaels on last night.

So, he played the game.  Blah, blah.

Then he played a brand new, never before heard song off his upcoming album.  Except, Mrs. NFB and myself both agreed, we'd heard it before.

Different lyrics, sure.  But that's Every Rose has its Thorn.  Same chords, same structure, same build to the chorus, same chorus save the lyrics.

What's interesting is the reaction difference between myself and Mrs. NFB.  As a musician, I recoiled in embarrassment.  Both for him and for myself in recognizing what he apparently didn't.  Mrs. NFB's reaction when she realized it?  "I liked Every Rose has its Thorn the first time.  So I like this."

Sometimes I hate having that musician's brain.

see, there's Bette belting it out, and then Axl doing his rendition.. Knowing you, I'm thinking you pref'd Axl, unless you're going to get all pissananny "Axl wasn't real rock" (or punk, etc) on us.

I'm sure Axl's "real." by nightflameblue (4.00 / 2) #4 Fri May 02, 2008 at 01:43:04 PM EST
But that doesn't change the fact that he's the whiniest wussy little bitch in all of rockdom.  And believe me, that's saying something.
